Send me an angel right now

Day 4 of our beach holiday began with a beach walk where I found a pretty angel ornament. Sometimes there are wonderful signs all around us.

My family and I drove into Eden and walked by the water. I loved this Christmas tree made of branches in an information centre and am inspired to make one of my own.

We had some salty potato cakes and walked on the pier.

This beach has massive waves and is definitely a surf beach.

At the local cemetery, I marvelled at the headstones of people who lived in the 1800s! Aren't they so much more beautiful than modern ones?

It was quite chilly so I wore my wool jumper over my leopard summer dress. I found the wool jumper for $5 at a market and am so glad I bought it.

Looking for sharks!

  1. Lovely photos! Thank goodness you packed a jumper!
I adore old cemeteries, I think you mght enjoy tomorrow's blog post. There's all kinds of symbolism associated with tombstones. Did you know that a pillar broken in half means that the person buried there died too young? xxx

It's no use pretending 'cause I understand

Run and tell all of the angels, this could take all night

For who knows when we'll meet again this way
