Don't let them fool ya, or even try to school ya

Can you believe these photos were taken during my January work holidays earlier this year? Time really does speed by! Judging by our winter clothing, these photos very well could have been taken last week as we are now in the middle of winter here in Melbourne. I have lots of photos piled up that I'll eventually share on this blog. Even though I am always behind on blogging, I still like to take photos when out and about or if I'm wearing a cute outfit, don't you worry about that! This must have been after mum and I visited a delectable cheese and wine eatery in Daylesford. We came home telling tales of the delicious food and were inspired to make our very own charcuterie board.  We sat by the river, enjoyed the food and sights and also brought books along to read. All in all, a perfect little adventure.  Mum's wearing: A vintage, opshopped dress. Hair flower, patterned tights and boots - retail finds, bought years ago.   I'm wearing: A vintage jacket and belt - S

It's my first day of work holidays! Woohoo! There's so much I'm looking forward to... days out with mum, catching up with some friends, visiting my grandparents, finally using my pottery lesson voucher that my sister bought for me pre-Covid and spending as much time as I can with my boyfriend. The last few weeks at work have been spent doing assessments and writing reports as well as two weeks of online learning, so I'm very grateful to have some time to relax and get ready for term 3. Melbourne's restrictions have eased considerably since lock-down 4.0 but people in their 20s don't yet have access to any Covid-19 vaccines. Have you got your vaccine yet? Some of the teachers at my work have had their vaccine and it's always interesting to hear their experiences.      In other news, I have been living in turtlenecks and cord pants/skirts, as I do every winter. They're warm and suit me and I just can't bear to wear anything else because it's fr

Hello again! Hope you're all doing well! I'm writing a quick blog post, while I've got a second! Life is always busy but I like to squeeze in time for the things I enjoy, like blogging and posting outfit photos! These photos were taken in April right before I was going out to a canolli date with Pat. Such an Italian thing of me to do - haha!   I bought this dress not too long ago from a Savers op shop. It was $10-15 which is more than I usually spend on a secondhand dress but I've been wanting a denim dress for years. Plus this one was the perfect colour and length so I didn't mind spending the extra few dollars. Plus I wanted to look cute for my date! As of May 27 (my birthday) at midnight, Melbourne went into its 4th lock-down. We had quite a few months living life like 'normal', just going about our buisness so it's always a shock to have COVID-19 cases again and to have to suddenly go into a lock-down. Although I'm glad the government is so quic
