Hands across the water
On Monday, my mum, sister and I had a fun day trip out to Ballarat, a country town this is historically known for the Gold Rush in the 1850s. It was a one-and-a-half hour drive and I always enjoy the scenery- the hills, trees, sky and farm animals are such a peaceful sight to me. Photo taken in the town centre. We spotted a few opshops as we drove into the town centre and popped in to check them out. There weren't many treasures to be found, although I did come away with a metal necklace. It's very heavy and the older ladies at the counter joked about how I'd need a chiropractor massage after wearing it! I thought the necklace might have been vintage due to the weight of it, but the clasps look modern. Nevertheless, it's the style that I like - I've worn it a couple of times already.
