Bright light city gonna set my soul, gonna set my soul on fire

For a foodie, the Conservatory in the city is a dream come true. A beautiful buffet filled with every food imaginable and situated by the water, it is no wonder that my mum and I love returning there a couple of times a year.  We daydream about the fresh seafood, especially the oysters, crabs, prawns and vongole.  There are so many desserts to choose from! This time I enjoyed the tiramisu, strawberries in chocolate, Persian fairy floss and New York cheesecake. It is a gorgeous, fancy place with marble, hanging lights and glitzy costumes near the big entrance that leads up to the restaurant, so naturally we love to dress up.  This time I wore a maroon velvet dress and my vintage fur coat, along with a vintage bag and snake print boots.  My mum wore a beautiful red tartan skirt that she made herself with a denim jacket. If you had the option to eat anything in the world, what would you choose? Title : Viva Las Vegas by Elvis Presley.

Hello again! Hope you're all doing well! I'm writing a quick blog post, while I've got a second! Life is always busy but I like to squeeze in time for the things I enjoy, like blogging and posting outfit photos! These photos were taken in April right before I was going on a canolli date. Plus this one was the perfect colour and length so I didn't mind spending the extra few dollars. Plus I wanted to look cute for my date! As of May 27 (my birthday) at midnight, Melbourne went into its 4th lock-down. We had quite a few months living life like 'normal', just going about our buisness so it's always a shock to have COVID-19 cases again and to have to suddenly go into a lock-down. Although I'm glad the government is so quick in protecti...

I can see the places that we used to go to now

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I went on a walking tour around the city of Melbourne. You may be wondering why we took a tour of our own city. Well, last year when we visited Sydney , we had so much fun doing a bus and walking tour , that my sister was keen to do another walking tour.   I was familiar with some of the places but many were new to me, I'm not really a city girl. It was interesting to listen to the guide tell us the history of different places and he said that often a lot of the good places are hidden away in alleyways. Apparently Melbournians like to keep treasures to themselves!  At the end of the tour, the guide mentioned that at St Kilda beach, penguins come out every evening. We made a mental note to visit. The next weekend, I'd spent most of my Saturday doing work for reports and afterwards, I was really tired and a bit stressed. So my dad announced, "All right everybody, I've got a surprise, we're going somewhere!" ...
