Happy new year's eve everyone! I hope you had some joyous moments throughout 2022! Even in times of sadness, I have come to realise that there is still so much beauty and love around us and things to be grateful for.  As I've been cleaning up the photos from my phone (I take so many!), I've found some that I haven't shared throughout the year. I'll slowly get around to posting them now that I have summer holidays before I start with my new grade 2 class at the end of January. Mum and I discovered a couple of Mexican restaurants recently. I loved the interiors of this place. I also took great joy in growing my own tulips this year!  Of course I loved putting together outfits too. I can't wait to go on many day trips with my mum while I'm on holidays. We'll surely return to this restaurant near my dad's work. The Mexican flan is absolutely amazing. I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! I was so happy to catch up with some family friends on Christmas Eve for a sunny picnic. The food was delicious and the company was even better. I also enjoyed spending Christmas Day visiting my dedo with my family and then having lunch with my boyfriend's family.  On my sister's birthday a few days ago, she wanted to go out for fish and chips for dinner and look at some Christmas lights, so that's exactly what we did. The Christmas lights were truly amazing and so over the top! Earlier in the month, my family, boyfriend and I also visited the Myer Christmas windows after we went out to a German restaurant for my parents' anniversary. I loved the Mickey and Minnie Mouse window the best, as well as the Lion King window. What did you get up to this holiday season? I hope you're having a joyful and peaceful time whatever you're up to.  X

It puts my stress over finishing reports into perspective. I've also recovered from Covid, I've had it 3 times now. I was very sick this last time but am glad it's over. Now onto the happy things. Some Christmas snapshots from the mall. For me, Christmas is such a happy time because it brings back memories with my grandparents, family and friends. Earlier in November, we also celebrated my friend's daughter's 1st birthday. Isn't my friend Renee gorgeous? And she has the most adorable little one. I wore my new-to-me white dress for the party. I think I paid $10 for it at a market. I haven't been to many markets lately but this was a good find. I'm always on the lookout for a beautiful, white, summer-y dress and this one is perfect.  My mum wore her blue dress that she made herself. Doesn't she look b
