Dreaming of Vintage Treasures

I had planned on writing about my recent trip to the cinemas to watch Rocketman , but something much more exciting happened this morning. On inxs_aus ' Instagram page, a fan posted a photo of their trip to the house where Australian cult classic  Dogs in Space (1986)  was filmed. As my mum and I went to a vintage market this morning, I told her about the house in nearby Richmond, and we spontaneously decided to go for a drive and take some photos in front of the house.  Once we got there, I was so excited to walk down the tiny lane and see the house. Hello there. I've spent 4 days this week laying down sick in bed so I'm glad I've got these photos that were taken earlier in the year. They're sunny and I can spot a glimpse of my sunflowers in the background, which makes me enormously happy. Thank goodness I was well enough to leave the house on Wednesday. For my birthday, my sister bought me tickets to a preview screening of 'MYSTIFY Michael Hutchence' which also had a Q&A with director Richard Lowenstein, a friend of Michael's and director of 1986 Australian cult classic Dogs in Space (!!)
