Strawberry Fields Forever
Over the holidays, my mum sister and I went for a day trip to country town Bacchus Marsh. We visited a strawberry farm, where we roamed around the field and picked our own strawberries to purchase. It's a fun experience. Whenever we've been in the past, it's always been really hot in the field so we chose to go on a mild day so that we wouldn't bake in the sun! The strawberries weren't as abundant as the season is drawing to an end, so we really needed to search and keep our eyes peeled for any ripe strawberries hiding beneath the leaves. Even though it's Summer, I wore boots and tights as either the weeds between the aisles always make my skin itchy. I also chose to wear a mini dress under my top as I've made the mistake of wearing a longer skirt to the strawberry field in the past, and it kept getting caught in the plants!
