And we lived beneath the waves, in our yellow submarine

A beautiful day at the beach began with the sun beaming gently over the coastline, casting a golden shimmer across the clear, turquoise waves. A soft breeze rustled, as my mum and I walked across the pier. Everywhere we looked, people were happily strolling around, chatting and having a little giggle in the sunshine.

Walking along the wooden pier, I enjoyed wearing my white, cotton dress. My yellow sandals added a pop of colour and coincidently matched a yellow boat, which reminded me of a yellow submarine.

For lunch, we stopped at a small seaside restaurant, enjoyed the sparkling view and I ate a bowl of mussels in spicy, tomato sauce topped with a toasted piece of bread.

One day, I'd love to buy a little beach holiday home, even if it's a tiny place, I'd never get tired of going to the beach!

What's your dream place for a holiday home?

  3. Oh, I could use some of that warm sunshine right now, Jess! It's sunny here in Victoria, but cold! I love that you match the boat (and now "Yellow Submarine" is stuck in my head). I adore mussels, yum!
