Is there anything more perfect than some time spent at a beach?

A little while ago, my family and I spent the afternoon at Williamstown beach. It was a bit cold so I rugged up in my big, fluffy coat, hat and boots. It was so beautiful and relaxing being by the blue water. After losing my nonna, it has been a sad time of grief for my family and I, so this peaceful trip was really wonderful.

We visited an ice cream shop called Will's Batch Ice Cream. Their ice cream was quite expensive at the price of $8.90 but it's natural and handmade in small batches and also very delicious. My sister and I shared a cherry ice cream, and the second flavour we picked was matcha, with the bright green colour you might see peeking out underneath the cherry ice cream. 



We had a lovely stroll and admired the very calm water and beautiful sky.

    I last went to the beach a couple of months ago with my mom. It's so soothing, and I'm incredibly fortunate that I don't live far from the ocean.
    Love your snuggly coat and those boots are gorgeous. I always check out what your mum is wearing - love her leopard!

After 11 weeks of term 2, preparing reports and completing parent-teacher interviews, I farewelled my grade 2 students, and began my two weeks of holidays. Promised you a miracle

 Where do you buy your clothing from? Opshops? Online shops? Retail stores? For a while, I hadn't been buying much clothing as my wardrobe is absolutely full! From time to time, I sell pieces from my wardrobe on eBay to slowly thin out my collection. Although recently I fell into an eBay rabbit hole and have purchased quite a few nice dresses.  I bought this  Tree Of Life  dress on eBay after admiring the exact same one my mum has. I tried on her dress, so knew which size to buy. It popped up immediately when I looked it up online, and for less than $30 including postage, it was mine ! Leopard is always fabulous, I think. I enjoyed wearing it for a get-together with family friends at my uncle Arthur's house a little while ago. This cotton, brown and cream kaftan was also from Tree of Life. I wore it recently when going to see Simple Minds play at the Red Hot Summer Tour. And boy was it hot, at 35 °C     we were so sweaty, people were fainting around us...

And when those blue snowflakes start falling

Ahh December, what a month you were! Racing to the end of the work year, enjoying Christmas gatherings, watching a Christmas movie or two and having the weather heat up in Melbourne. My December began with my boyfriend's birthday. We went out to a Korean BBQ restaurant for dinner and I made him a tiramisu cake. Isn't he cute? A week later, my sister surprised my family and I with a pistachio panettone from Cannoli Bar . The pistachio cream was delicious and the highlight of the panettone. My mum wanted to do a small Christmas lunch this year with my family, uncle and boyfriend. Thank you mum, everything was delicious. We chatted the day away and listened to old 70s and 80s songs.  For my sister's birthday, I made another tiramisu cake and got her yellow roses and a pair of black Converse runners which she loves to wear.
