Going to the chapel of love

I'm quite behind on my blog posts, but please let me take you back in time to my friend Renee's wedding. This was one wedding I was looking forward to! It was a lovely day, the weather was perfect, the food was delicious and Renee, Charlie and little Eleni were so visibly happy, it was a wonderful sight to witness. I love how they included Renee's late mum Carmel in speeches with such love and sincerity, it brought tears to everyone's eyes instantly.   The food was amazing, by far the nicest food I've had at a wedding. The antipasto was delicious and the banquet of pastas was amazing, I loved the prawn pasta so much! And don't get me started on the gelati bar, I was in Italian food heaven! I wore a red gingham dress, golden block heels and a vintage, snakeskin bag given to me by my nonna that she actually wore to my parents' wedding. I've loved growing up with Renee, I'm glad we have remained friends through the years and it made me so heart happy to...

Foolishly laying our hearts on the table, stumblin' in

It's nearly Valentine's Day! Whether you're single or in love, I hope this is a wonderful week for you! A few weeks ago, I was thinking of buying a love heart dress to wear for Valentine's Day but then I remembered all the red and pink dresses I already have in my wardrobe. I'm trying to be more mindful of what I buy as my closet is absolutely full! I've been trying to sell some clothes on eBay so I have a bit more space, but that is a slow process as clothes don't always sell quickly. What are your plans for today? The night is young and so are we

My Eden holiday blog posts have finally come to an end! I spent New Year's Eve having a nap (otherwise I'd be as grumpy as a grinch), dancing with my family to the DJ's music on the beach and video calling with my boyfriend. The next morning, my mum, sister and I went on a beautiful beach walk. The sun was shining, the sea was blue and sparkling like diamonds. I found a pretty shell with a hole at the top of it. Perfect for a pendant, I thought. I also found two 'cigarette' shells stuck together. My mum and sister made moussaka and salad for dinner. I spent the rest of the day relaxing and reading Elvis: From Memphis to Hollywood by Alan Fortas and Alana Nash, a good book that I've read before. It was a perfect, easy-going day to start off the year. Can you believe it's February already? What have you been up to lately and what have you been reading? I'd love to hear in the comments.
