It's nearly Valentine's Day! Whether you're single or in love, I hope this is a wonderful week for you!

A few weeks ago, I was thinking of buying a love heart dress to wear for Valentine's Day but then I remembered all the red and pink dresses I already have in my wardrobe. I'm trying to be more mindful of what I buy as my closet is absolutely full! I've been trying to sell some clothes on eBay so I have a bit more space, but that is a slow process as clothes don't always sell quickly.

    The red dress with the green braided trim in the centre and the Sportsgirl (?) red and pink one in the bottom right hand corner are my favourites, I'd wear them in a heartbeat.
    I've got a date on Valentine's Day, with a girlfriend!
    It's coming up to midday here, so far I've done my workout, made breakfast, wrapped the eBay parcels and dropped them off at the post office, taken a pile of donations to the charity shop and visited the haberdashery stall on the market. After lunch I think I'll be sewing and writing a blog post!

    They're all gorgeous, but my favourite is the one top centre, which is stunning!

    We went charity shopping today, but had to visit three until we found parking space. Found some books, a small basket and a pair of green ankle boots! xxx

  A little while ago, my mum, sister and I had lunch at one of our favourite places in the city, Conservatory. It's an all you can eat restaurant with a wide variety of food. Mostly I dream of the seafood and I was SO excited to go. I love the lighted ceiling and marble staircase that greets you on the way in. I wore my new-to-me cream midi dress with cute puffy sleeves that I recently bought at a market for $7. I wasn't sure if the colour would suit me, but I like how it looks with the coral necklace. Beach baby, beach baby, give me your hand

A day by the beach, what could be better? One sunny day on my work holidays, my mum and I visited Geelong beach. First we popped into the Vintage Mills Market. Looks at these vintage treasures... Next we strolled by the beach.  Passing the  carousal , we couldn't resist having some childlike fun. The Carousel's website says: " The Armitage-Herschell portable steam driven, hand-carved wooden carousel was constructed circa 1892 and is one of only 200 in operation around the world.   Featuring 36 Dare horses and 2 chariots, it was purchased by the Steampacket Place Development Board in 1996 and painstakingly restored." The view from the carosaul centre is beautiful. For lunch, we ate at a lovely restaurant by the beach called Fisherman's Pier. We love returning to enjoy the seafood linguini - delicious!  The four beach ladies waved us goodbye as we made our way back to our car. Goodbye beach, it was nice seeing you! I go leaps and bounds

A few weeks ago, my mum, dad and I spent the day in Geelong, catching up with some family and friends. Julie, Andy and their children were down from Queensland for the weekend to watch their son Joel play football, so it was a perfect chance to catch up.  It was nice watching the game, chatting and laughing non-stop. This bunch are always cracking jokes and I delighted in our giggles. Being outside all day, I rugged up in my new fluffy coat, my Christmas present from mum this year. I squeezed in a sneaky wear of it before I wrapped it up in Christmas paper.  My mum has a maroon Afghan coat and a tan one, which I sometimes borrow. You may recall them from my blog posts here and here . Now I have one of my own, thank you mum! I practically pounced on it, when I saw it on sale. I've been secondhand shopping for so long, I forgot that retail stores have end of season sales! The coat kept me toasty all day, even into the night as we headed to a pub hotel for a final gathering and chat.
