Oh cherry, oh cherry oh baby

A little while ago, my family, boyfriend and I visited the Bacchus Marsh cherry festival!

There were many market stalls, food vans and rides to enjoy. My boyfriend and I enjoyed an open souvlaki with chips and some hot jam donuts, plus the sunshine was blinding and beautiful.






There were even Irish dancers!


We drove down to the Avenue of Honour to visit a cherry farm but the tours were all booked out!
Instead, I admired the purple bottle brush flowers, the sight of the bright red cherries on netted trees and my mum also bought some fresh cherries.

    What a fun day out!
    When I was in my teens, we used to stay in a guesthouse in Germany, which was actually part of a cherry farm. We used to pick different kinds of cherries whenever we went for a walk! xxx

After 11 weeks of term 2, preparing reports and completing parent-teacher interviews, I farewelled my grade 2 students, and began my two weeks of holidays. Promised you a miracle

 Where do you buy your clothing from? Opshops? Online shops? Retail stores? For a while, I hadn't been buying much clothing as my wardrobe is absolutely full! From time to time, I sell pieces from my wardrobe on eBay to slowly thin out my collection. Although recently I fell into an eBay rabbit hole and have purchased quite a few nice dresses.  I bought this  Tree Of Life  dress on eBay after admiring the exact same one my mum has. I tried on her dress, so knew which size to buy. It popped up immediately when I looked it up online, and for less than $30 including postage, it was mine ! Leopard is always fabulous, I think. I enjoyed wearing it for a get-together with family friends at my uncle Arthur's house a little while ago. This cotton, brown and cream kaftan was also from Tree of Life. And when those blue snowflakes start falling

Ahh December, what a month you were! Racing to the end of the work year, enjoying Christmas gatherings, watching a Christmas movie or two and having the weather heat up in Melbourne. My December began with my boyfriend's birthday. We went out to a Korean BBQ restaurant for dinner and I made him a tiramisu cake. Isn't he cute? A week later, my sister surprised my family and I with a pistachio panettone from Cannoli Bar . The pistachio cream was delicious and the highlight of the panettone. My mum wanted to do a small Christmas lunch this year with my family, uncle and boyfriend. Thank you mum, everything was delicious. We chatted the day away and listened to old 70s and 80s songs.  For my sister's birthday, I made another tiramisu cake and got her yellow roses and a pair of black Converse runners which she loves to wear.
