Pressure pushing down on me, pressing down on you

Hello!

I've had the strangest feeling all day. I've been feeling so moody, like I could burst into tears at any second. Little things have been bugging me and it's all a bit bewildering to me.

Of course, you wouldn't be able to tell by these pictures I took last week. The red dress is so cheery, can you believe I found it at a market when it was still selling in an Australian store called Valleygirl?

I haven't been up to much this weekend, other than doing some work in preparation for parent teacher interviews and spending time with my family and cousins.

This morning, my dad, Dedo and I went to visit the cemetery as my Baba's two year anniversary is coming up. Afterwards we hung out in my Dedo's garden, picked some of his homegrown cucumbers and were delighted by a bird nest that's in his grape plant - it has three small blue eggs inside!

In the afternoon, I went with my mum and dad to the city to buy some Christmas presents for my mum. The Christmas windows are still up and there's a whole level of Christmas decorations and food in Myer!

On the way home, we popped into the supermarket and I bumped into my best friend and I was so happy to see her, I instantly cheered up.

Dress and belt: market finds.

I've got a lot to look forward to...
Christmas (I think I'll wear this red dress for it!)
My sister's birthday.
Finishing work for the year at the end of the week.
Catching up with friends.

What are you looking forward to, now that 2018 is coming to an end?

  1. This is a super dress - it looks lovely on you and will be perfect for Christmas. I've been feeling hormonal this week too: tired, stressed and a bit down. Hang in there, hon, it will pass.

  2. That dress is lovely, the shape and colour are perfect for you. A super find.
I loathe this time of year - I'm no fan of Xmas and the rampant commercialism and greed drive me to distraction. I'll be fine after 25th December just as you'll be fine on another day. xxx

Hope you have a good Christmas this year. X
