Though it's hard for us to whisper 'buona sera' with that old moon above the Mediterranean sea

Nestled amidst the rolling hills just north of Daylesford lies the enchanting Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm, a truly picturesque estate that fuses European-charm with rustic Australian countryside. My sister, mum and I were delighted to spend the day there for an Italian Festival.

As we wandered through the grounds, we admired lush gardens, olive groves, rows of lavender, a stone farmhouse and a barn.

We enjoyed roaming at our own pace, spotting a gorgeous cat, some cows, emus and even alpacas.

It’s a stunning place where every corner offers something lovely to admire.

We walked up a steep hill to the very top to take a photo with a Jesus statue. Italian music wafted in the air and inspired a Italian singalong on the way home. A beautiful day to remember.
