After all, it is written in the stars

Our second day in Apollo Bay began with a sleep in and short walk to a cafe. I enjoyed a cream cheese and smoked salmon bagel for breakfast - yum!

Then my family and I went for a beach walk and later walked up a steep hill to a lookout. The beach looked beautiful from above.

My mum and I spotted a garage sale sign and I bought handmade wool and alpaca fingerless gloves for $5. At a market by the beach, I found a bar of olive oil soap for $7, my new favourite thing to wash my face with. Have you tried olive oil soap before?

For lunch, we had pies from a bakery. I had a scallop pie with actual scallop pieces in it, well worth the $15.

Next we wandered through an art gallery. Don't they always make you want to take up painting?

I enjoyed wearing my purple floral maxi dress and it looked nice against a wall of red leaves. On an afternoon beach walk, I found two love heart rocks.

For dinner, we returned to Apollo Bay Seafood Cafe and I really enjoyed the lobster roll! I've never had one before and loved the subtle flavour of the lobster and the fresh taste of the coleslaw. Have you tried lobster rolls before?

On our last day Apollo Bay holiday, we had one last morning walk by the beach then started driving home, of course getting car sick along the windy roads. Luckily a quick stop for fresh air distracted me and led to me finding some deliciously sweet wild blackberries. Yum!

We stopped in Lorne at Uncle Donut for some delicious donuts by the beach. I absolutely loved the creme brulee donut. We wandered around the shops and then we had some bowls of pho for lunch. So nourishing, I need to learn how to make it!
