Take what you need and be on your way

I love visiting Williamstown beach, it's got to be one of my favourite beaches. I love seeing the black swans, I love the sparkling blue water, I love looking out from the pier to the boats.

I giggled at this boat named Popeye and sang Popeye the sailor maaan, walking down the pier.

I took a photo of this park bench, where I remember my sister, mum, nonna and I enjoyed fish and chips by the beach.

It was such a hot day and I didn't want to get sunburnt, so I wore my long sleeve, cotton, gingham dress, with my big sunhat, and vintage bag.

My mum and I popped into a church built in the 1800s and admired the stain glass windows.

For lunch, my mum and I ate at Monzarella. She had steak and I had a margherita pizza.

Then we enjoyed an ice-cream, which promptly melted  as soon as we stepped out the door and into the heat. I chose 2 flavours - pistachio and cherry which you may see peeking out from the bottom.

In the evening, my sister organised for us to go to a local movie theatre to watch We Live in Time. Watch this film if you want to cry your eyes out.

It was a full day out! For dinner, my mum, sister and I met my dad at an Italian restaurant where I enjoyed caprese insalata - buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes and basil.

I hope you enjoyed tagging along to our busy but fun day out.
