Will you meet me in the middle, will you meet me in the air?
Day 6 of our Eden holiday began with a visit to Pambula Tea Rooms. My family and I enjoyed tea and cakes for breakfast. I really loved the vanilla slice and chocolate cheesecake that I shared with my dad.
After a big sugar rush and very full tummies, we wandered to Mechanic's Botanics where we admired the ceramics, handmade hats and unique pieces.
Next we went into Pambula's Wholefood Store, where I bought a jar of organic beef tallow for $24.95. Don't call me a hippy, but I have heard that it's a great natrural moisturiser alternative and very good for your skin so I was looking forward to trying it. Since using it, I have absolutely loved it. One of my favourite times of the day is when I wash my face in the evening and put on a face cream or oil. Instead of buying traditional souveniers (like magnets) on holidays, sometimes I like to buy face creams instead. Last year in Tasmiania, I loved the Bruny Island face cream with manuka honey.
Funnily enough I practically wore this exact outfit in Tasmania, in the link I included above. With its big sleeves and bright colour, this hand-me-down dress from my mum has been lovely to wear.
Then we visited Pambula beach and dipped our feet in the water. For lunch, I made sausages, sandwich steaks, onions and salad (not pictured) and after digesting, we went swimming in the beach.
I can never resist trying out a new face cream but can honestly say I never heard of organic beef tallow for the skin!
ReplyDeletePambula sounds like a wonderful place to spend a day, and I'm swooning over that gorgeous dress of yours! xxx
Pambula Tea Rooms looks fabulous both inside and out . Love the photo of you, your dad and your sister and you and your mum look so pretty in your floral frocks.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of buying a beauty product as a holiday souvenir. I usually buy a locally made bar of soap. xxx
