I'm sitting on the dock of the bay watching the tide roll away
Day 4 in Eden began with a swim in the beach. The water was so blue and clear, you could see shells and hermit crabs on the sand.
For lunch, we went to Lakeview Bar and Grill in Merimbula, where we looked out to the water, chatted and enjoyed our meals. I ate burrata with nectarines, tomatoes, hot honey and bread.
Next we went to the Merimbula icecream store, waited in a very long line, then sat and enjoyed an icecream. I got a frozen yoghurt with blueberres and made note of the Italian pistachio icecream to try another time.
We wandered around the pier and saw some people fishing. I wore another Tree of Life dress that I found on eBay. This one is a block printed cotton, so very light and breezy for a hot day.
Back at the cabin, my sister, mum and I made a gingerbread house which hilariously fell apart the moment we finished making it!
For dinner, we went out to the Eden Coast Wok and Grill, which is right by a golf course. I enjoyed fish and chips and watching kangaroos hop around the golf course.
I'll finish this post with these two lovely photos of the beach. See you in two weeks for my next blog post.

What lovely photos! You're a poster girl for Tree of Life, that dress is so pretty! x
ReplyDeleteYour block printed Tree of Life dress is gorgeous and I could murder a plate of fish and chips, followed by that delicious looking ice cream! What a shame the gingerbread house fell apart. It looks very cute! xxx
