Rest in peace my beautiful nonna. My family and I always knew we had the best mother and grandmother in you. You gave us so many wonderful memories from childhood into adulthood. Every moment spent with you was memorable and special. We were always blessed to love you and be loved by you.


















For the next few weeks, I won't post any blog posts. I'll be back and see you at the end of the month.

    Oh, honey, I'm so sorry to hear of your Nonna's passing. <3 You're so lucky to have had so much time with her, and to have all these photos! I know you will treasure them forever. Take care of yourself.

A day by the beach, what could be better? One sunny day on my work holidays, my mum and I visited Geelong beach. First we popped into the Vintage Mills Market. Looks at these vintage treasures... Next we strolled by the beach.  Passing the  carousal , we couldn't resist having some childlike fun. The Carousel's website says: " The Armitage-Herschell portable steam driven, hand-carved wooden carousel was constructed circa 1892 and is one of only 200 in operation around the world.   Featuring 36 Dare horses and 2 chariots, it was purchased by the Steampacket Place Development Board in 1996 and painstakingly restored." The view from the carosaul centre is beautiful. For lunch, we ate at a lovely restaurant by the beach called Fisherman's Pier. We love returning to enjoy the seafood linguini - delicious!  The four beach ladies waved us goodbye as we made our way back to our car. Goodbye beach, it was nice seeing you! Promised you a miracle

 Where do you buy your clothing from? Opshops? Online shops? Retail stores? For a while, I hadn't been buying much clothing as my wardrobe is absolutely full! From time to time, I sell pieces from my wardrobe on eBay to slowly thin out my collection. Although recently I fell into an eBay rabbit hole and have purchased quite a few nice dresses.  I bought this  Tree Of Life  dress on eBay after admiring the exact same one my mum has. I tried on her dress, so knew which size to buy. It popped up immediately when I looked it up online, and for less than $30 including postage, it was mine ! Leopard is always fabulous, I think. I enjoyed wearing it for a get-together with family friends at my uncle Arthur's house a little while ago. This cotton, brown and cream kaftan was also from Tree of Life. Because I knew you, I have been changed for good

  Last Thursday night, my mum, sister and I went to see Wicked: The Musical in the city!  We quickly dressed and rushed there after work and made it just in the nick of time before the 7pm start. We marvelled at the ceiling and Romeo and Juliet style balcony. I even spotted a handful of Australian TV personalities, walking through a roped off area, which is something I've never seen here in Melbourne. Usually, we all just walk through the same entrance!  I absolutely love  The Wizard of Oz  as you may have noticed  here  and  here  and quite enjoyed Wicked The Musical, with its perspective of two witches Elphaba and Glinda from the Land of Oz. The set was wonderful, with references to the Land of Oz such as the Emerald City, cornfield and a field of poppies.
