So the next time you see rain, it ain't bad

Day 5 in Tasmania was very rainy. In Launceston, we checked out of the hotel, browsed some stores including a very unique looking umbrella store and an opshop. On this holiday, I didn't buy anything at all except food and one face cream as I had no space in my luggage with a 7kg limit.

We made the long drive back to Hobart, walked by the bay and my sister and I spotted some more starfish in the water.

I wore my mum's leopard dress and she wore a cute blue maxi with a long, lacy cardigan. I loved wearing this leopard dress so much that I looked on eBay and found the exact same one and purchased it for myself. Perhaps my mum and I will have a leopard twinning moment soon!

We took my dad out for a birthday dinner at Ottimo Ristorante Italiano. I enjoyed a prawn, anchovy and chilli spaghetti. We walked by the bay again after dinner and had some gelati.

After 11 weeks of term 2, preparing reports and completing parent-teacher interviews, I farewelled my grade 2 students, and began my two weeks of holidays. I was looking forward to spending time with my family and grandparents, as well as squeezing in some day trips. My mum and I returned to our favourite place, Daylesford. It was a cold, winter's day so we rugged up in big coats which kept us surprisingly toasty. I wore my tartan coat that I recently bought at a market. Run and tell all of the angels, this could take all night

Earlier in the year, my family and I visited a strawberry farm in Bacchus Marsh. My sister and I love visiting fruit farms and being able to pick our own fruit! The strawberries were much sweeter and tastier than the bland ones usually found in supermarkets. I was delighted to buy some apples too. They had no wax on which is basically unheard of these days. Next we visited a beautiful, old church. I love how the arches are reminiscent of Noah's Ark. Even the door is purposely designed and ornate. Promised you a miracle

 Where do you buy your clothing from? Opshops? Online shops? Retail stores? For a while, I hadn't been buying much clothing as my wardrobe is absolutely full! From time to time, I sell pieces from my wardrobe on eBay to slowly thin out my collection. Although recently I fell into an eBay rabbit hole and have purchased quite a few nice dresses.  I bought this  Tree Of Life  dress on eBay after admiring the exact same one my mum has. I tried on her dress, so knew which size to buy. It popped up immediately when I looked it up online, and for less than $30 including postage, it was mine ! Leopard is always fabulous, I think. I enjoyed wearing it for a get-together with family friends at my uncle Arthur's house a little while ago. This cotton, brown and cream kaftan was also from Tree of Life. I wore it recently when going to see Simple Minds play at the Red Hot Summer Tour. And boy was it hot, at 35 °C     we were so sweaty, people were fainting around us...
