Leaves are falling all around, it's time I was on my way


 Greetings! 


Here are some snaps of nature in my neck of the woods. These pink flowers bloom near my sister's work and I remember last taking photos in front of them here.

Mum and I had the urge to visit the Horseshoe Bend Farm, a place we haven't visited in years! We were sad to see it was abandoned. No more horses or other animals or craft activities or cafes. I have fond memories playing here with my friend Renee and my cousins and sister.
 

 
 
So we just entertained ourselves by walking around and taking some photos, as you do. 
Look at this huge fig tree! I hope to grow a nice, big fig tree in my own home one day.

 
 
After a wander, we drove home, but not before capturing these beautiful trees in all their red, autumnal delight.

    You are making me crave autumn and the leaves changing, not to mention snuggly coats and fall colours in my wardrobe, Jess! That's always so sad when a place you remember doesn't live up to that memory...

  A little while ago, my mum, sister and I had lunch at one of our favourite places in the city, Conservatory. It's an all you can eat restaurant with a wide variety of food. Mostly I dream of the seafood and I was SO excited to go. I love the lighted ceiling and marble staircase that greets you on the way in. She's the lady who wears those flashing eyes

    Recently, I've been loving the colour pink. I think it may be because I've been seeing so many reels of cute, pink kitchens on Instagram or perhaps it's because I've been adoring my pink, strawberry jug I shared on my blog recently . Regardless, I've never really paid much attention to the colour pink until recently. I was determined to find a pink dress and luckily I didn't have to look far because I found this pink and red dress at the next opshop I visited, Savers. A bit pricey for opshops ($15.80), but I was happy to purchase this dress because it's beautiful and Sportsgirl sell their dresses for $80+ in their stores.     I had to take my new-to-me dress out for a twirl on a day out to Daylesford with my mum. She wanted to visit the lavender farm again whilst the purple delights were still in bloom.           The scent of lavendar was wonderful. Beach baby, beach baby, give me your hand

A day by the beach, what could be better? One sunny day on my work holidays, my mum and I visited Geelong beach. First we popped into the Vintage Mills Market. Looks at these vintage treasures... Next we strolled by the beach.  Passing the  carousal , we couldn't resist having some childlike fun. The Carousel's website says: " The Armitage-Herschell portable steam driven, hand-carved wooden carousel was constructed circa 1892 and is one of only 200 in operation around the world.   Featuring 36 Dare horses and 2 chariots, it was purchased by the Steampacket Place Development Board in 1996 and painstakingly restored." The view from the carosaul centre is beautiful. For lunch, we ate at a lovely restaurant by the beach called Fisherman's Pier. We love returning to enjoy the seafood linguini - delicious!  The four beach ladies waved us goodbye as we made our way back to our car. Goodbye beach, it was nice seeing you!
