Ruby Tuesday

Hello again!

I'm back with those ruby velvet pants that I was telling you about in this post.

I'm not sure which colour I like best. At first I thought I liked the emerald pair better, but now I'm thinking the ruby pants are my favourite. They remind me of the colour of raspberry lollies made at Sovereign Hill.

Which reminds me, I've almost run out of the raspberry drops I bought last year. I'm not a big fan of lollies, but these ones are delicious. They make these traditional lollies by hand in a small factory. It's worth going to Sovereign Hill just for the lollies!

I went to Sovereign Hill for camp years ago, in primary school, and it has always held a place in my nostalgic heart. Anyway, enough of that, I'm not being paid to talk about Sovereign Hill, I promise!

I don't believe being a teacher means that you have to be frumpy or lose your personal style. I'd hate to change the way I dress for work and luckily I don't have to.

  1. Your crushed velvet culottes are fab, both colours are great on you.
I bet you think that I'd be a strange vintage trader if I didn't wear vintage clothes but you'd be surprised at how many of my fellow traders only wear modern clothes. xxx

    1. Thanks Vix! It's great that your wear vintage when selling, it shows you're passionate about it and that it's not just a business for you. It's a great conversation starter too. I'm amazed at how many conversations start with strangers, because of what I'm wearing. Xxx
