Hey Jude, don't make it bad

Thanks so much for sticking around for my last few blogs about the fires in New South Wales. It wasn't the happiest of experiences but now I'm going to move onto better and sunnier days.  After all, what are holidays for? For me, they're a time to catch up with friends, family, have days out at the beach and squeeze in all things I want to do but don't necessarily have time for when working. So towards the end of my January holidays, I did just that! Williamstown Beach became our go-to spot on warm days. My mum and I strolled by the beach, found a lovely restaurant and had pasta with vegetables for lunch. Every time we've eaten there, the food never disappoints.  I think I'd fancy living near the beach  but I also love the country. I still have a fair bit to save before I'll feel comfortable moving out and to  be honest I think I'll stay in the suburbs because I want to live near my family. I have family that live near (5

What do you do on a perfect summer's day? If you're us, you go to the beach! My mum and I took my nonna out to our new favourite place, Williamstown beach. We went on a boat ride into Southbank for lunch. My nonna grew up in Italy by the beach so just like us, she enjoys being by the water. When we arrived at Southbank, we walked along the river to find a place to eat. We decided on a restaurant that had pasta with mussels. We all ended up choosing the same dish -  what triplets we are! We also ordered a delicious cheese board. Cheese and pasta - we are Italian after all! Everything tasted so delicious. I forgot to take photos of the food because we were too busy eating and chatting away. After lunch, we walked through Crown and sh owed my nonna the lovely place we had recently visited  for a 1st birthday party. The grand staircase had been fantastically  decorated for Chinese New Year. We took some photos by the river before the boat back

My work holidays were filled with day trips, op-shopping, catching up with friends and family. On one particularly sunny day, my mum and I were driving around, indecisive about where to go. Then suddenly,  ahah ! Let's go to Williamstown beach!  we agreed. We walked up and down the pier, marveling at the beautiful ocean view and the boats. It was pretty quiet as it was a weekday but there were still some people fishing, with their feet dangling over the pier. We wandered down the strip of shops looking for a restaurant to eat in and finally decided on one because it had cute turquoise outdoor chairs and nice salads. I had a calamari salad and my mum had a a Caesar salad. We chatted away about anything and everything, relaxing in the shade.  When we got home, we realised that our shoulders were very sunburnt from the brief walk on the pier. If we had've planned our trip a bit better, we would have brought some sunscreen.  I hate leaving the bea
